Visited Akaka Falls State Park on a rainy Saturday. On the way there Anika wondered aloud if we really wanted to go hiking on such a rainy day (smart girl since it was pouring out). Once we got there though, it wasn't nearly as bad as what we had been driving through. In fact it was a nice little hike with plenty of interesting flora and fauna and several other smaller waterfalls. The kids also referred to these other falls as "Akaka falls," despite the other falls diminutive stature.
